Description: Back in 2019 – I interviewed Rick Henricksen, the Artist Carver at the Gibson Custom Shop about his “Dream Weaver” Spider L5 guitar. Since Halloween is coming up and I’m excited to see what Gibson and Rick will be putting out this year, I decided to re-edit this video with additional photos to share with some of the new followers I’ve gained this year. I always felt this video was severely under-viewed at 20k, so here is hoping to a better turn out this time! This guitar was later used as a 2020 Winter NAMM Display guitar and I believe has since sold. Maybe I’ll have to buy the 2020 Halloween guitar!

Gibson Halloween 2019, Gibson Released a Gibson Super 400 Neck with an L5 body that had a Spider Theme on it with Serial number CS DW1. This was a Rick Hinrichsen creation – the Artist Engraver at the Custom Shop. Rick is fairly new to this position (a little over a year) but has done many of interesting guitars such as the Summer of Love/Hippie Les Paul that was seen at Winter NAMM 2018.

Rick reached out to me on my Facebook page when I was trying to figure out who painted the Psychedelic Les Paul and we kept in touch since. That came in handy when this Gibson Spider guitar came out.
