Spider-Man: Far From Home Has Some Crazy Scenes…

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a terrific movie that wraps up a lot of the emotional loose ends that fans felt after Avengers: Endgame. It’s also a delightful series of twists and turns thanks to the powers of Jake Gyllengaal’s Mysterio. However, some of his illusions are pretty BS.
Like the Elementals, or how the Fire Elemental manages to absorb metal despite just being a hologram. The zombie Tony Stark bit, the hologram bar, as well as the illusion warehouse also draw into question how much time Mysterio’s team has to prepare their illusions. Then there are some lies that never should have worked, like his fake family’s passing, being from an alternate reality, the Elemental fusion drawing power from the Earth’s core, and making Spider-Man out to be a villain are also some pretty easily disprovable lies. Not to mention that the Spidy clones would just feel like drones nudging against Peter Parker.
It’s undeniable that this was a solid movie that will usher in a new age for the MCU. However, it would have been nice if Mysterio could have kept his hallucinogenic gas as a means to explain why so many people think his illusions feel real.
