So, the first trailer for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” just dropped, and it looks fantastic. The animation is gorgeous, the voice cast is so fresh and exciting, I love the sort of 90’s street skater-hip-hop vibe that they’re going for here, and just overall it’s one of my most anticipated movies of the year, and could end up being one of the best Ninja Turtles movies ever made. A lot of people are talking about how the movie is influenced by Spider-Verse, but I think it’s a little more nuanced than that and there’s some deeper thematic meaning to the movie’s art direction
