Day one of trying to get my jumping Spider to hand feed this is my newest Jumping spider and I haven't quite Earned her trust just yet but over time I am hoping to earn her trust and get Her to start accepting food off of my Hands something that is unique about Jumping spiders is that they're actually Pretty intelligent for arachnids unlike Tarantulas you can actually build a bond With a jumping spider and they have Decent eyesight so they can actually get To know you but unfortunately this is a Process that takes a lot of patience and Time I could tell that she was Interested in the worm and wanted to eat It but she was just too afraid of my Fingers and I don't want to traumatize Her so I'm just gonna set the worm on The Cork and hope that she takes it for Herself and then eventually accepts it From my hand she did a few laps around Her enclosure giving the worm a little Bit of a side eye and once she Determined that it was safe she finally Made her move and pounce this is her First time probably ever having a Hornworm so it's pretty normal for them To be afraid of them at first hopefully After a couple more attempts she'll feel Comfortable enough not only to take the Worm right away but to take the worm Right off my hands
