CarrieAnne knew how to handle a hobo spider: Get the ladder, get the vacuum, get to work. But her plan didn’t account for what to do if said spider falls in her hair. “It turned into an epic fail,” says husband Gary, whose initial contribution was to stand across the room with their daughter and shout advice from a safe distance. (To his credit, he did eventually get the spider.)
