Spider-Man PS5 won’t be available on the PS4. Seems like PS5 launch titles will be PS5-only and not Cross-gen. What’s going on guys? RBG here, back with another follow-up video I made regarding the rumored Spider-Man sequel for the PS5. That video has been getting a lot of attention in the few days that it’s been up and rightfully so there have those who doubt the source. I initially quoted video game journalist Imran Khan’s brief mentioning of Spider-Man PS5. And how he thought that the game could be seeing a Fall 2021 release date. And there was a good amount of you who doubted that this could be true. Because for 1 he’s just 1 guy who’s recently been let go from 1 of the biggest gaming news companies. And 2, the development window for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 just seems too small considering that its only been a year since the 1st game came out. Those are some reasonable points but I think we’re totally looking over the fact that this guy was the chief editor of Game Informer. And he was around during 1 of their highest selling magazines which is the month in which they were doing exclusive coverage for Marvel’s Spider-Man. So you’re telling me that a chief editor of that site/magazine isn’t gonna have access to this type of thing? I mean he was already getting exclusive news & hands-on demo’s from Insomniac when he was with Game Informer. So I don’t think it’s that far of a stretch to say that someone within that inner circle let him know that Sony was making plans for an immediate sequel. I mean this is a company that’s made it their mission to keep the single player experience alive.
