Nasty Redback Black Widow spider is back at the front gate control. I use a small bug to lure the Redback spider out of it’s spider lair. Little did she know I had the Mortein FAST KNOCKDOWN spider spray ready. It’s been really weird warm weather, the spider infestation is crazy, ants have also gone crazy and somehow I have captured 3 jars of flies in a week. My plan to stop the Redback spider taking control of the front gate is laid out in this video. I can see that the spider control after Bin Spider 2.0 has stopped any more spiders returning. Spider chemical controls seem to only work for a few months, hopefully my method can last longer than that. Maybe the Redback in this video is the spider that was seen last March. Weird thing is there was no web at all during Winter so where do these spider hide during Winter.

Trying to stop and control spider is really tricky. The garden and home environments are the perfect place for them to live and there is always an abundance of other insects for the spiders to feed on. Redback spider are fairly choosy where they make their nest. It needs to be elevated dry and warm. But will the secret weapon be White Lithium Grease. The idea is to make the area as uncomfortable as possible for the spider to set up home. One fact about these spiders is they love to return back to exactly the same place every season. Maybe next year I will see just how successful by method is.
