Spider-Man: No Way Home is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Alfred Molina.

We’ve been talking about the big Spider-Man: No Way Home spoiler for the better part of the year, as we kept getting more and more evidence that backed up the early rumors. No Way Home wouldn’t just be the last third standalone Spider-Man story in the MCU. It would be the first live-action Spider-Man multiverse story, featuring three Peter Parkers: Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield. The leaks have gotten so big that you can’t escape them anymore.

Fans of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man have been eagerly anticipating Spider-Man: No Way Home in the hopes that he will surface in the movie. While no confirmation has been made to his involvement, he has been heavily rumored to appear.

The upcoming movie is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will revolve around Tom Holland’s iteration of the character as he seeks out Doctor Strange’s help and inadvertently causes the multiverse to spill into itself, bringing back Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus from Sam Raimi’s trilogy and Jamie Foxx’s Electro from Marc Webb’s saga.

While the latter’s return understandably fuelled the rumors that the hero of those films, Garfield, would be returning, the actor himself has repeatedly stated that he is not in No Way Home. And yet, fans are convinced that he (along with Tobey Maguire) will appear in the movie.

Tom Holland hassaid that No Way Home felt like the end of a trilogy, although he did leave the door open for a possible continuation. But the real fun part was Holland talking about one of the big No Way Home twists, which Sony and Marvel showed in the first trailer.

Alfred Molina is back to play Doc Ock, the villain we last saw in Raimi’s Spider-Man. Molina explained that Doc Ock would be pulled into the MCU from the reality where he died. That was a firm multiverse confirmation that implied the Maguire-Garfield rumors were real.

Spider-Man: No Way Home opens on December 17th, with a second trailer to drop in the coming weeks.
