The Amazing Spider-Man – Web Swinging Gameplay + Different Suits

Puffy Lux

In this video, I show you some web swinging gameplay from The Amazing Spiderman Game, whilst showing off some of the cool suits you can unlock in the game, which relate to old comics, previous spidey films, and the game itself.

Free Roam Web-swinging is by far one of the most fun elements within the game, especially since it hasn’t been available for a while within a Spider-Man game. And many people seem to enjoy watching gameplay of Web Swinging action, so here is seven minutes of it, in different Spidey Suits I have unlocked and at different times of the day, to show the variation the game has to offer!

This is the first Spiderman game I’ve bought since Spiderman 3 for PS2. I haven’t played a single one since then. The main reasons are because I was into the films at the same time when playing Spiderman 1, 2 and 3 for PS2, and also, from Spiderman 2 onwards, there was free-roaming which made the games so much fun!

But after Spiderman 3, games such as Edge of time didn’t really attract me towards the genre, as there was no free-roaming, and as I didn’t read many comics on Spiderman I didn’t have a clue what the story was about and I didn’t feel comfortable playing as Spiderman in different time era’s, as I grew up watching the films which were Spiderman in reality.

But, once hearing that The Amazing Spiderman game was free-roaming, realistic in terms of location, villians, etc… and back to how it used to be, I was interested! So, being a fan of Spiderman since I was a kid, I decided to relive some memories by playing another Spidey game, and this game was great fun.

I have completed the game itself twice through, once on normal difficulty, and once on the hardest difficulty. The first time round I completed everything apart from the comics, and I gained the achievements for this, so I didn’t complete all of the side-quests second time round as I had already done them before. And this is why you will see quests on my map.

I wasn’t interested in the film when I first saw it, as it looked like a goofy remake with new actors and a new villian, but as time went by and new trailers were popping up I decided to give it a go, and the film in my opinion is fantastic, not better than the first Spiderman film, but definitely not worse. So if you’re wondering whether the game has any spoilers that may ruin the movie for you, I say that for me they were not spoilers, they helped me to understand the film more. The events in the game do not directly give away what happens in the film or any major parts of the film, mainly you just know who dies, and who stays alive.

So I hope you enjoy the video! Feel free to like, comment and subscribe! This was filmed with an HD PVR so 720p HD is recommended for best quality.
